French honour for Newcastle Chorister

Newcastle Cathedral chorister, Matthew Woolstencroft, was chosen from a long list of candidates to sing the backing track for a video production premiered in central France earlier this year.

This video is a response to the choices that we all have of recollection and dismissal of an image. The question of ephemerality and transience of memory is reflected by the boy's voice which will very soon be lost to adolescence. Music composed by Tim Shell
